LEGAL
Terms of Service
Effective October 12, 2026. By accessing or using Arcana, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Arcana is
Arcana provides a tarot deck, card meanings, drawing experiences, journal records, review tools, community features, and optional consumable diamond purchases. It is designed for entertainment and personal reflection. It does not predict the future.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must review and agree to these Terms. You are responsible for activity under your account and for using an email address you are authorized to use. Do not sell, transfer, impersonate, or misuse an account.
3. License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Arcana. You may not reverse engineer the service where prohibited, interfere with its operation, bypass purchase or security controls, scrape content at scale, use automated systems to abuse the service, or use Arcana for unlawful activity.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of content you create. You grant Arcana a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. For public community content, that license includes displaying it to other users until you remove it or close your account, subject to reasonable backup and caching periods.
You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload or publish and for not sharing sensitive information you do not want others to see.
5. Community rules
Do not publish harassment, hate speech, threats, explicit exploitation, private information about others, spam, fraud, intellectual-property violations, dangerous encouragement, or tarot claims presented as medical diagnosis, investment advice, or guaranteed life outcomes. We may review reports, remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Users can report content and block accounts in the app.
6. Diamonds and purchases
Diamond packs are consumable digital items purchased through the Apple App Store. The price shown by the store controls. Store terms govern billing, taxes, refunds, cancellations, and payment disputes. Except where law or the store requires otherwise, consumed or delivered diamonds are not refundable and have no cash value.
The current balance is stored on the installation associated with your account on that device and may not transfer to another device or survive removal of the app. Deleting your account also ends access to unused diamonds.
7. Deep readings
Basic readings are produced from card meanings and spread structure. The optional remote AI deep-reading feature is not currently available. If launched, Arcana will show the diamond cost and relevant disclosures before use. Diamonds must not be deducted when a deep reading fails to complete.
8. Important disclaimer
Arcana content is for entertainment and reflection only. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, relationship, or other professional advice, and it is not a prediction, diagnosis, guarantee, or promise about illness, wealth, investments, reconciliation, or any life outcome. Do not delay or replace professional help based on a reading. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions. If you may harm yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis resource immediately.
9. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, content, or the service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or permanent storage. Export important records regularly. Updates may be required for security or compatibility.
10. Intellectual property
Arcana, its branding, software, original card art, interface, and service content are owned by or licensed to Arcana and are protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
11. Termination and deletion
You may stop using Arcana or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, security threats, legal requirements, or misuse. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability—remain effective after termination.
12. Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcana is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arcana and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, or decisions made from readings. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Disputes and governing rules
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without overriding mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence. Before filing a formal claim, contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Any dispute must be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction unless applicable law provides otherwise.
14. Changes and contact
We may revise these Terms. Material changes may be surfaced in Arcana, and continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. Questions can be sent to PueseyWary3722@outlook.com.
